A road passing through the District of Urla is connecting
Karaburun City to Izmir. The distance between Izmir and Karaburun City
is 100 km of which 45 km on the Izmir-Çesme highway. The remaining 55
km are on a very curvy asphalt road winding along the shore.
Karaburun City lies at 120 km from the Adnan Menderes Airport in
Izmir, an acceptable distance for foreign guests. You can also fly in
through the Turkish airports of Bodrum (300 km) and Dalaman (418 km).
From the interurban bus-station of Izmir / Balçova a buss is
leaving for Mordogan and Karaburun every half hour in summer and every
hour in winter. The bus-trip lasts for about 2,5 hours. There is no
connection by boat until today.
All the villages of the Peninsula can be reached by asphalted
road from Karaburun City or Mordogan City.
